I'll be adding another picture later to show an overview of the plant. This `awa kümakua is three years old and located under the shade of an `ulu tree. It is much smaller in stature and has thinner nodes compared with its sibling in full sun.
The kümakua is one of many green varieties such as 'apu, Honokaneiki and Wailau.
