[}:)] Kava is said to be very nice when taken with marijuana-- I myself have noticed a definate enhancement. I personally endorse mixing it with booze, but then again I've always had a boner for swilling hooch and ingesting anything that says "do not mix with alcohol."
Anyhow, I just made a wonderful discovery-- kanna (sceletium tortuosum) is just wonderful to mix with kava! Word of caution, kanna IS a short term SSRI, but anyhow WOW!!!!! The best thing about it, though is that while the inebriating effects of kava are very short lived and the mildly ecstassy like high of kanna is even SHORTER lived, I felt wonderful waves of euphoria for at least a couple of hours!
