The only difference perhaps is preparing the kava beverage beforehand, and then using a brand with sugar.
I found the Smucker's brand, "instant strawberry Lemonade" at Costco. It was relatively cheap - I forget, maybe, $7? The five pounds of powder, makes 32 quarts. Flavoring and sugar are all there.
With your already prepared kava beverage, follow the instructions of one scoop (more or less to taste, a small scoop is included) to one cup of kava beverage. Mix, and there you have it: instant strawberry lemonade flavored kava. A few ice cubes will keep the drink cold.
Note. I usually prepare a gallon of kava beverage at time and keep it in the refridgerator. I only mix in the Smuckers per cup as sometimes - believe or not! - I prefer it plain. Costco also has Country Time at about the same price and it makes 34 quarts - container has 5 lbs, 2.5 oz of dry powder. I've yet to try it. |
