Mokihana variety?

All rights reserved. This plant is reputed to be a Hawaiian kava variety called Mokihana. The plant resembles Mahakea, yet its growth is very slow. Next to a fast growing, vigorous Hiwa at our nursery, it seems the environment is the same. Perhaps this is my fault. However, I have begun to do more propagation and will plant its clone elsewhere and observe more of its growth. The plant is approximately three years of age and is puny, piko is green, and internode appear medium length. Sorry about the pictures' quality and format. I'll take so more later. Comments?
