| Call for essays & photos taken at the festival | |
| yee | A scrap-book or memorabilia of the Hawaii Pacific Islands Kava Festival is being planned. Please e-mail, bring or send any photos taken at the festival. If on photo paper I could digitize the photos and return the prints to you very quickly. Likewise, your essay and/or student essays and other people's writeups or comments would also be welcome. Perhaps inquiries could be made of your friends and contacts. This material would then be published onto the websites as an interim interest area. Suggestions as to themes or presentations or anything to enhance the festival's standings are welcome. | yee | Well, we're still sorting out pictures. And have potentially one essay coming in at the end of the month. Some thoughts are being given to the format and organization of the materials. One goal is coverage: beginning to end, as many faces as possible, as many features of the festival... Another is the format: photo album, ease of use, indexing...
