Mämaki (Pipturus albidus) leaves
are used in the preparation of teas. Mämaki is endemic to
the Hawaiian Islands (meaning it evolved here locally and not
found naturally anywhere else). Other uses of the plant include
the making of kapa. Now for perhaps the first time, fresh mämaki
